BidValid (“we”, “us”) is an online service for businesses. This page says what information we collect through bidvalid.com and our emails, what we do with it, and your choices.
What we collect
- Business contact details for our emails: a company’s name, the business email address it publishes, and whether it has asked us to stop.
- Your email address, if you leave it on one of our pages, with the contract code and the service you were looking at.
- Emails you send us, and what you write in them.
- Business information you give us when you order: your questionnaire answers and the documents you send. We use them only to prepare your bid pack.
- Visit counts, through Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not identify you. We set no tracking or advertising cookies.
How we use it
To email businesses about local government contracts that match their trade and area, and to stop when asked. To answer you. To prepare what you ordered. To count visits.
Who holds it for us
Google (our email and files) and Cloudflare (our website and the forms on it), plus the service that sends our emails. They act only on our instructions. We never sell, rent or pass your information to anyone for their own use.
How long we keep it
An email address you leave with us: until you ask us to stop or to delete it. A “no thanks”: we keep that address on our do-not-email list so we never email it again. Order information: as long as we need it to provide the service and keep our records.
Your choices
Reply “no thanks” (or “unsubscribe”) to any email from us and we stop within 10 business days. Email privacy@bidvalid.com to see, correct or delete your information; we answer within 30 days. Our site does not track you, so it does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals. No other company collects information about your browsing on our site over time or across other websites.
Changes: if we change how we handle information, we update this page and the date at the top.
